I hate...Thank you so much for the favorable review. I hate to say it but being confused was not the wine, it was the book. I heard that a lot and I cut and molded and tried to explain and...somehow it was still never totally clear. <br /><br />But I wanted there to be a big backstory so that people really knew the characters and what made them so screwed up. <br /><br />It had not occurred to me that being taken care of by someone dangerous is human nature. Good point. That's going to to turn over and over in my head for awhile I think. <br /><br />And I totally agree with you-- I'm a big sucker for historicals too. For me that's one of the best things about vampires--they've seen all kinds of stuff. I'd totally drool over a guy who could talk history to me. I'm still cool, right? <br /><br />And-- you're the first person to mention that there is no actual penetration! lol! My bff is always giving me a hard time (sorry!) about that. Next book.
